The Big Debate - Should Thailand Reopen for Tourists?
Thailand is a tourist paradise for many. As all may know, it’s a country where the economy is dependent on travelling.
For John, he has been to Hua Hin for family vacation lately. In his trip, he witnessed how badly the local economy is performing - even he got 50% discount for the five star hotel he is at in this vacation town, there are not many visitors. This has prompted him to think about today’s topic. The “cost of zero” - the cost of staying at zero infection is getting higher and higher for the country’s economy day by day.
While Thailand has zero infection for almost 100 days already, the government & the Thai are wondering when the country should reopen again.
No one knows but what you, as a tourist, think about it?
Will you be willing to stay quarantined in a hotel for 14 days before being allowed to hang around?
